THE LINEUP
THRIVE
VITALITY CIRCUIT
PROPEL
THRIVE is a total mind/body blast that takes you through a cycle of multiple exercise sequences targeting your core, arms, glutes, and legs to dramatically strengthen and tone your entire body. Turn UP and shut OFF ~ music and the mind are everything in this space. Treat each verse like a new beginning - alternating between small rhythmic movements at high repetitions, powerful muscle isolations and holds, high intensity cardio bursts, and deep, dynamic stretches. Sculpt lean muscle, increase strength, and build endurance while focusing on the most powerful tool - your mind. Shut off the outside noise - it’s is your time, your space…THRIVE
*What's involved: mat, light weights & bands depending on class (provided by studio) barefoot welcome.
Noun: the state of being strong and active; energy. The newest addition to the lineup, a strength focused concoction of circuit training and interval training jam packed into a 55-minute session. Alternate between 5-10 exercises per round, each targeting different muscle groups while working the whole body with minimal amounts of rest. Depending on the line up for the day, each client will be given their own set of props for the entire duration of the class ranging from dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, ab rollers, bands and more! Because you’re moving from exercise to exercise with very little rest in between, your body produces a significant amount of cardiorespiratory response meaning YES - you can totally check off the cardio box and strength training box for the day! Your very own bootcamp in a 10-foot radius of space (yes Fauci we added 4 feet).
PROPEL *verb: e.g. drive, push, move forward with force. Monica Trentin joins the lineup and we’re kicking it old school- literally. With over 40 years of expertise in the fitness industry and her infamous cardio kickboxing class heard round’ the state, combined with The Compound’s innate ability to bring kick ass experiences to kick ass people, we bring you PROPEL. (Speaking of kicks, expect to be doing a whole lot of those in this fast-pace 60 minute whirlwind). This signature fusion class incorporates kickboxing with authentic martial arts and boxing movements, combined with bodyweight HIIT exercises and rounded it out with 10 minutes of abs at the end. Burn hundreds of calories and take thousands of steps before the day even gets started, and leave feeling a jolt of unimaginable energy…Strike, Force, PROPEL
PEAK
Focusing on the TOP half of your body starting at the center of it all - your core. This zone-focused workout targets your entire upper body in a fast paced but controlled environment. With a strong focus on the midsection, the muscles in your core (front, back and sides) work to not only stabilize, but manage the movement of your spine. This class focuses on core training and upper body exercises that develop and strengthen these muscles, helping to improve posture, prevent injury and of course tone and sculpt the abs. Fully activate your arms, chest, back and core with bodyweight strength exercises and optional light weights to increase intensity and challenge your threshold.

BASE
Focusing on the LOWER half of your body starting at the center of it all - your core. This zone-focused workout targets your base - the lower body - in a fast paced but controlled environment. With a strong focus on the midsection, the muscles in your core (front, back and sides) work to not only stabilize, but manage the movement of your spine. This class focuses on core training and lower body exercises that develop and strengthen these muscles, helping to improve posture, prevent injury and of course tone the abs. Strengthen, sculpt and define your legs and glutes with a series of bodyweight exercises, high intensity drills and muscle isolations. Ground yourself for 45 minutes and focus on the foundation of it all - your BASE.
SHIFT
BLOCKED
SMALL GROUP B*K-BELL
Mobility, stability, strength. A total body workout that incorporates segmental exercises using various props, weights and bodyweight encompassed in a lower impact environment. Each class will vary in direction leaving that ELEMENT of surprise, but you can always expect a full body workout while focusing on the most important aspects – posture and alignment. Round it off with proper stretching and expect to improve your balance, engage in proper alignment and increase your strength. SHIFT your perspective and do it right, always.
This full body, fast paced cardiovascular training method produces an intense aerobic workout indoors without running, rowing or cycling. This signature method of training encompasses roughly 30 different exercises broken into “blocks” - each of which target different muscle groups while keeping the heart rate excelled for the entire duration of the workout. This class effectively works all parts of the body with little to no props, while constantly changing positions and producing the highest levels of cardiorespiratory endurance. No machines or pounding pavement necessary to obtain the truest form of cardiovascular exercise- block after BLOCK.
If you love kettle bells or you’ve never touched one in your life – then this class is for you! Master the basic movements of kettle bell training and explore advanced techniques using a combination of bells and bodyweight for this 45-minute strength driven class. With a focus on integrating breathing, movement and alignment - learn how to properly preform kettle bell exercises while strengthening your entire body. Brian Kermizian has over 15 years of extensive kettle bell training and will guide you mastering the movements in this small group BK-Bell class.

YOGA - ISH
REVIVE
Breathe, Release, Flow. Our signature vinyasa yoga class experience encompassing a series of sequenced poses that seamlessly flow together. Find yourself grounded in both foundational postures and creative variations that will strengthen, open, and revive your body and mind. This class is accompanied by an artfully curated playlist and incorporates a longer warm-up and cool-down to deliver a well-rounded and total body experience. Redefine human connection and the power we gain when we breathe and move together, and give back to your body in this mobility-focused flow. Decrease risk of injury, improve mobility, increase blood circulation, perform better in high-intensity workouts, and move through greater ranges of motion. Nourish, heal, REVIVE.

GRIIT
Passion, perseverance, resilience. The Compound’s exclusive combo class of yoga and HIIT. In psychology, “grit” is a positive, non-cognitive trait based on an individual’s perseverance of effort combined with his/her passion for a long-term goal or end state- (a powerful motivation to achieve an objective). This class combines a blend of high intensity interval training (HIIT) with yoga moves and postures allowing you to increase strength and flexibility while building endurance and boosting your energy and metabolism. Each sweat session mixes short, but intense bursts of cardiovascular exercise followed by segmental flows to rest your body and mind in between. By combining dynamic bodyweight exercises with mindful breathing, stretching and flowing – your body and mind is working from head-to-toe, leaving you strong, energized, empowered and “in a state of true GRIIT”.

CARVED
Mind, matter, muscles. The Compound’s exclusive yoga sculpting class. This class incorporates light weights into your yoga practice, allowing you to release stress with intensified yoga poses and sequences, all while building lean muscle mass. Beneficial to advanced and beginner yogis alike, this practice allows you to target the muscles you need in order to have a strong and safe yoga practice. The muscles targeted in Carved are not typically strengthened in a classic vinyasa class, but are necessary in your practice. Often times individuals can hyper-extend into the joints, this practice helps strengthen the muscles surrounding and supporting the joints, allowing for a better practice and a stronger body. Move to upbeat tracks and intensify each yoga pose while mixing in free-weights and strength training exercises. Breathe, flow, carve.

KIDS CLASSES
SGT - Small group train class
A revolutionary technique created by world renowned osteopath Guy Voyer and used by athletes all over the world, the primary goal of ELDOA is to increase space by decompressing a specific joint. This signature class designed by Brian Kermizian, (expert in myofascial stretching (MFS), sports performance & ELDOA therapy) will allow your body to obtain optimal recovery while focusing on muscle reinforcement, proprioception and posture alignment. Through a combination of intense stretches, active elongation and corrective breathing, the muscle tissue can be effectively released. Learning and preforming these signature techniques can offer significant relief and improve muscle performance and recovery. Move-Stretch-Recover.

In our current world, our youth are suffering the most due to Covid-19 restrictions on activities, limited schooling and social interactions, and far too much time on electronics. THE LAB has created multiple outlets and a safe place to burn off some energy – allowing kids to stay active and healthy. We have created three programs, CONQUERED Juniors and Minis, and our signature combo class THRIVE + REVIVE- scaled down for the littles! These programs were designed to give kids a chance to decompress from their new-normal and a get out some of that pent up energy from staring at a screen all day, all while having fun! Our newest specialty class added to the lineup! A semi-private 60 minute training session/class designed to give you a full body workout similar to your very own PT session - safely - with a few new friends. This 60 minute class will be in-studio with Covid-19 guidelines in place and a maximum of 4 people per session. Depending on the class set up for that day, each client will be given their own set of weights, bands, mini-bands, gliders, core/medicine balls, kettle bells, etc. to safely utilize for the duration of the class. Expect a kick-ass workout in a safe, intimate environment.

THRIVE + REVIVE 60
Our signature combo class, it’s like having twins- alike, yet so different! Start with a 30-40 minute dose of our THRIVE class, a total mind/body blast that takes you through a cycle of multiple exercise sequences targeting your core, arms, glutes, and legs to dramatically strengthen and tone your entire body. After the THRIVE whirlwind, take it down and “REVIVE” yourself with an express version of our signature vinyasa flow class. Music and the mind are everything in this space. Sculpt lean muscle, increase strength and flexibility, improve mobility and build endurance while focusing on the most powerful tool - your mind. Shut off the outside noise - it’s is your time, your space…THRIVE then REVIVE.
